I met Du'Bois on a project composing music for Alvin Ailey Dance School's "Sacred Songs". Du'Bois's leadership and vision in music and dance was inspiring to me. Our tonal blends had so much chemistry that we decided to link up after the project to start writing together. This song is about the clashes of love and chronic uncertainty.
